The breath is everything.

A conscious use of breath, and the interplay between weight and weightlessness an emphasis on the natural rhythms of fall and recovery.

 

A clarity in the movement, and musicality plays an important part of this training, this allowing us to come to the point where we can forget the technic and move freely in the dance.


The class integrates various influences from Graham to limon to Jazz & Yoga, moving on the floor and in space, flexibility of the spine; body-part and individual Body parts, focus on the feeling and quality of the movement instead of getting bogged down in the steps and exact forms, In addition to focusing on the internal experience, there is a relation to what’s on the outside, like the air, the floor, and the other dancers, & the emotionality of the music.
