Lucas Condro

In 1999, he was invited by the master and choreographer David Zambrano to take part in a seminar at the SNDO (School for New Dance Development), where he subsequently studied for three years and graduated with a Dance Maker qualification.

He then undertook further training at the Montpellier Choreographic Centre, studying with teachers such as Mark Tompkins, Lisa Nelson and Mathilde Monnier. On his return to Argentina, he began working with choreographers Diana Szeinblum, Lucia Russo and Natalia Tencer.


Since 2012 and to the present day, he has been pursuing his ASYMMETRICAL-MOTION project: a research initiative aimed at developing and systematising his experience in the pedagogical practice of contemporary dance.
​In February 2015, she published the book Asymmetrical-Motion/Notas sobre pedagogía y movimiento [Notes on Pedagogy and Movement] (Ed. Continta Me Tienes) in collaboration with Pablo Messiez.

In February 2016, he published Lo singular (Ed. Continta Me Tienes).
Since 2018, he has been based in Madrid developing several artistic and pedagogical research projects.
In 2019, together with Poliana Lima, he founded MoverMadrid, a contemporary dance
festival organised in collaboration with the Cuarta Pared venue.
He has also collaborated on shows with Poliana Lima: Hueco; Las cosas mueven pero no dicen nada; and Oro Negro.
Also in 2019, he created the choreography for Pablo Messiez’s production, Las canciones (Teatro Pavón Kamikaze)
In 2021, he performed in the production Cuerpo de Baile, directed by Pablo Messiez, at the Festival de Otoño and the Festival de Dansa Metropolitana in Barcelona.
In June 2023, he published his third book, Asymmetrical-Motion/Clases (Ed. Continta Me Tienes).
He has been a certified Feldenkrais Method practitioner since 2025.
He is co-director, alongside Poliana Lima, of ESPACIO-TIEMPO, a centre for contemporary dance and performing arts in Madrid.
