Creation and improvisation
This workshop is a call to the performer ability to apply his/her creative and constructive intuition in real time, betting on a perceptive and sensitive state in the present moment and reinforcing the interdependencies between the performers and all
that surrounds them.
It strengthens the sense of group through listening and refines the particularities of each one within the group.
METHODOLOGY: Interpreter-creator role
The research work lies in discovering new tools that contribute to the interpreter ability to make decisions, strategic skills and the deployment of creative resources for the actualization of creation. It helps to recognize the common tools that are applied in each composition proposal as the key to tune in with the group quickly.
On the other hand, it helps to take the place of the external gaze as training. Observing other colleagues in their practice and formulating a return with words is an exercise of naming what we see and how we see it. This allows us, on the one hand, to discover our choreographic gaze and, on the other, to create a collective language that is shaped through questions, doubts and multiple interpretations.
The words chosen to describe the movement crystallize in a narrative and are sown in the group, generating a Collective Imaginary. X-rays of movement. We propose a specific work on contact, as a way of imprinting movement. We will work with the idea of transferring information to another body through contact that will allow us to nourish ourselves with the logic of the other. We will approach it through an intuitive translation and the provision of tools that allow us to develop a particular method of capturing this information to transfer it to the body. In this way, movement becomes a perceptive tool that self-regulates its own expression, building a specific and precise body that explores the qualities of memory, the forms of the gaze, listening to space and musicality.
